To ensure full functionality, the Dial2Move app will ask for the following permissions on your device:
- Location Permission: To help you select your pickup/drop-off points on the map and calculate distances for accurate quotes.
- Microphone Permission: To enable the voice input feature in the AI assistant, allowing you to speak your requests instead of typing.
- Notification Permission: To send you important updates about your bookings and service status.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To Provide Our Services: To create your account, process bookings, and facilitate the logistics of your move.
- To Power the AI Assistant: To understand your requests, answer questions, and pre-fill booking forms for a seamless experience.
- To Process Payments: To securely process payments via our third-party gateway (Razorpay).
- To Communicate With You: To send booking confirmations and service updates via push notifications.
4. AI Assistant & Data Usage (Google Gemini)
Our AI assistant is powered by Google's Gemini technology. Your interaction with the AI is handled as follows:
- What is Shared: When you interact with the AI (via text or voice), the content of your conversation and your list of FAQs are securely sent to Google's API to generate an intelligent response.
- Voice Data: If you use the voice feature, your speech is converted to text *on your device* before being sent to the AI. We do not process the raw audio.
- Google's Privacy Policy: Usage of the AI assistant is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not store the content of your AI conversations on our servers after your session ends.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We only share your information with trusted third-party services essential for our app's functionality:
- Google: For the Gemini AI assistant and Google Maps Platform.
- Razorpay: For secure payment processing.
- Firebase: For push notifications.
- Our Backend: Your data is processed and stored on our secure backend servers at https://mgmt.dial2move.in/ to make the app function.
